CARBURETOR ADAPTORS

The carburetor adaptors for the Mach I, Mach Z & FIII take the place of the factory flanges and support the coils in the original location. These adaptors are for larger carbs when installed on the motor. They will accept up to a 56mm carb. A standard Mikuni carburetor rubber 38mm or 44mm is used to bolt on to the adaptor (sold seperately). For larger carbs such as the 56mm we use a clamp on style carb boot (sold seperately). The XP carb adaptors are for 44mm carbs and larger. Most carburators will need to be modifed by shortening the bottoms, needle jets, carb bowls, and plugs. The old style Vforce reeds will need to be used and you must modify the stuffers. The bulk head will need to be dimpled. The clutch tower bolt will need to be moved. The XP adaptors are sandcast, and come complete with carb rubbers, clamps, and reed gaskets. Sold in sets of 2. New for the 2010/2011 race season are Diad aluminum manifolds. We are carrying 2 cylinder Rotax and 3 cylinder 809 for Rotax coils or MSD ignition. Diad manifolds kits include aluminum manifold plates, reed gaskets, clamps, carb boots, and flat head screws that are to be used along with your stock screws. The Polaris Watercraft and 2 cyl. aluminum manifold plates are big reed cages for the small block bases.
