910 & 990 BIG BORE KIT FOR THE POLARIS 800 XC
The 910 Polaris Big Bore uses the 800 XC base, and will consist of a Crank Shop top end and pipes with the base being modified to accept larger sandcast cylinders. The casting has been proven on our 990 custom 2 cylinder race engines. The 910 engine works very well making about 168 HP and 110 lbs. of torque @ 8200 RPMs. This being said this engine combination is very torquey. The 910 kit will consist of new cylinders, pistons, heads, set of V Force 3 reeds, base modifications, and pipes. Send us complete engine or complete bottom end. Labor to disassemble the 800 motor is not included, and labor to assemble 910 motor is not included in the package pricing. The 990 Big Bore is a race motor that runs on C-12 fuel. The motor should produce 205 HP @ 8300-8500 RPM's. The 990 kit includes everything from the 910 kit plus a new 76mm billet crankshaft. The stock 800 carbs work for both 910 & 990 motor, but on the 990 motor the carbs will need to be tapper bored.
