800R BIG BORE 960 RACE MOTOR

We have developed a 960 big bore race motor for the Power Tek 800R Ski Doo. The race motor produces 25 HP more then the 800R race modified motor. We tested the motor with C-14 race fuel and 48mm Crank Shop Oval Slide carburetors. The 48mm carbs produce 5 HP more over the 600RS carbs that are used on the 800 race motors. The big bore package comes with new Crank Shop mono block, billet head with removable domes, 89mm custom pistons, Crank Shop custom rave valve (valve only) (Your stock rave assembly parts will need to be used.), machining to the stock base, twin silenced race pipes. The stock CDI ignition box would require to be programmed, but unfortunately the Ski Doo race department has discontinued this service. Customer would need to locate a box that was previously programmed. Send in top half of base to be machined and customer can assemble motor. Or send in complete bottom end with all top end hardware for complete assembly of engine for additional charge in labor. We also offer the big bore in a stroker version 1007. The kit is the same as the 960 but the stock crank is stroked cylinders are machined for the 1007 to match the stroked crank. This motor package makes 10 hp more then the 960 big bore.
