780 & 800 MACH Z & 800 FIII
The 800 Mach Z engine has finally been refined into an excellent trail engine with its increased water capacity and nickicil bore. With these improvement from Rotax it picked up an extra 20cc which is about 6-7 HP. We have a head cut that will use a thicker base gasket which will raise up the port timing instead of doing expensive porting work for trail use. This gives a 5-6 HP increase when used along with our trail pipes. Our trail pipes increase power by 10 HP with a 1 to 2 pound of torque at 8500-8600 RPMs. The race packages we have are for both improve stock and prostock racing. The packages include cylinder and base race porting, head machining & inserts, 3 cyl race pipes, and V-Force 3 reeds. The improve stock package will include boring the stock rack carbs. The horsepower for improve stock motor is around 200 @ 9300-9400 RPM's and the prostock 206 @ 9700-9800 RPM's. These packages are not for trail use. The labor to disassemble, clean, and assemble is NOT included in the package price. We have a Crank Shop sand cast 800 crankcase that will accept stock 800 or aftermarket cylinders, and the case will utilize the stock oem crankshaft, and the base does not utilize a waterpump. This base is NOT intended to be a replacement for the oem trail sled. We have opened up the reed cage area to allow for the use of larger reeds. We offer this same base in a 4 cylinder version. We have an aluminum billet 800 & 4 cylinder insert head.
